Acorn Commercial Finance Ltd was created by Ben and Paul to support the growing need for available finance in the SME market.

With 35 years of working for a high street bank – both Ben and Paul have amassed extensive knowledge of the SME market and recognise that a more hands on and back to basics approach is what businesses are looking for.
We provide a straightforward and simple solution for our customers.

We love seeing your business grow and being part of that journey.
We always listen, provide guidance and honest conversation.

Office Manager Sarah West

I started my adult working life in banking, before moving into the motor industry and then spent about 14 years in communications in direct selling and banking again. More recently I went back to school as a special needs teaching assistant and then into the school office as a finance administrator. I’ve now joined Coxy and Ben here at Acorn Finance as Office Manager, administrator, tea and coffee maker and most important of all social secretary.
Likes
Food, drink and sunshine.
Dislikes
British weather (about 50 weeks of the year) and stickers.
In my spare time (?!) you’ll find me
Running – not really an interest, but allows me to enjoy my ‘likes’ of food and drink!
Spending time with family – really fortunate to have a large extended family and love getting together when we can to just spend time together.
Upcycling – a new little hobby I discovered during Covid times.

Would you believe?
My first Saturday job was in a library – funny for anyone who knows me as I’m not the quietest person!
I’m the proud owner of a Blue Peter badge – which I’ve had for more than 30 years!
